:: Awesome roundel floral design main medallion with expressive dynamic leaves stemming therefrom atop an open main field sub-medallion of very large scale. Detailed scrolled tendrils in tone-on-tone shade carry through either end, with a serpent stylized main border. Colors and shades include: Pale coffee brown, chocolate brown, faded purple, oxidized silver, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One end measures 1'11" whereas the opposing measures 2'2". This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side.
