3x4.5 Vintage Kurd Rug

:: Diagonally oriented shrubs and blossoms in a rainbow of colors atop an abrashed field. Wrapped by an outer minor border in a reciprocating pawn design motif. Colors and shades include: Tomato red, sapphire blue, madder root red, cherry red, ivory, coffee brown, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Two areas of localized wear horizontally found in the main field. Otherwise very evenly worn. Newer side cord selvages with original found in part underneath. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Kurd rug made in Kurdistan circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 3'1" x 4'7".
