:: Allover covered field in a palmette and floral cross section design motif interconnected by thin vines finished with minor detailing of blossoms and buds. Main border in a partial Herati design motif with two serrated leaves / mahi encompassing a central floral top view (earth). Abrashes across with soft polished wool. Colors and shades include: Dusty rose, pale blush, platinum, oxidized silver, dusty copper, silver and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Slight contour to shape, within normal margin for type and age. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mahal carpet made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 6'6" x 9'11".
