Description
A very beautiful Turkish Ghiordes Prayer rug from Anatolia. A very unique collectible piece. It features a very beautiful Twin Mihrabs which is highly unique and beautiful color combination using natural vegetable dyes. Also features a wide border design which is rare to find. The inner designs below and above the Mihrab are seen on old/antique Anatolian carpets. It has good quality wool and in very good condition for its age of ~100 years old (circa 1920s). A very fine piece.
